He has mastered all surfaces, as his three crowns in the US Open, both from Wimbledon or the Australian Open, for example, but in clay he has written a historical domain. With his victory over Kei Nishikori he reaches his 11th Masters 1000 ATP Monte Carlo, the tournament he has won the most times. He has won 396 matches on the ground and has only lost 35. Its effectiveness on this surface exceeds 90%, an outrageous in itself but greater considering that it has been prolonged over a long period of time.
